Wide angle

HDR Image of sunset in Gary Point

Can't help but to include the lovely balloon (and girl of course) in the composition

Nature's Sun Dial

Purple & Orange dominates the dusk's final presentation

Well, it's been a while since I made any changes to my blog... Being lazy or lack of motivation... I dunno... I suppose not having enough interest to take photos add to it too. I must admit.. bad weather really do effect your mood of taking photos. Finally, the weather turned sunny and I just got my Tokina 12-24mm f/4.0, love the superwide angle! But having such wide berth of view does make composition difficult. How to eliminate unwanted elements in your frame became the most important part of composition.

HDRs

This series is about HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos, which combines 3 photos of different exposure together to form photos without shadows. Anyway, these are taken during my trip in Vancouver Island with my 40D in AEB +/- 1 stop (handheld, with 6.5 fps). I used Photoshop to align the photos (as they are not taken on a tripod), then use Photomatic to do the final processing.
